with startling honesty

at the end of the day, in her grief she wept and wailed, with sudden, wild abandonment, in front of her mom and brother.
she was a lot more mournful than she would have thought.  
tears engulfed her eyes.

that matter successfully killed the rest of her self-confidence and made all doubts in her mind grow 10 times stronger.

negative thoughts were constantly bombarding her as she was emotionally distraught.
